A road show for the upcoming 2025 Tamil Nadu Travel Expo (TTE) was held at The Residency Towers, Coimbatore, on 6th August 2025.
The event was organised for travel and tourism stakeholders in the region to highlight the various benefits of participating in the expo, including business opportunities and networking prospects.
The Tamil Nadu Travel Expo is scheduled to take place from September 26 to 28, 2025, at the IDA Scudder Auditorium in Madurai.
The announcement was made at a press meet held on 6th August by Sundar Singaram, Director of Operations, South India Hotels and Restaurants Association (SIHRA); D. Srinivasan, Managing Director, Sree Annapoorna; Jeyalakshmi, Coimbatore District Tourism Officer; and Amarnath, General Manager, The Residency Towers – Coimbatore.
TTE 2025 is jointly organised by the Travel Club–Madurai, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the South India Hotels and Restaurants Association (SIHRA), with support from the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
Natarajan, Deputy Manager, GRT Hotels, is the convener for TTE 2025, while Vasudevan, Managing Director, Fortune Pandiyan Hotel, Madurai and Gopinath, CEO, The Residency Group of Hotels, are the Co-Convenors of the Expo.
This is the second edition of the expo, and it is being held to redefine the tourism landscape of Tamil Nadu by connecting global buyers with leading tourism stakeholders and to bring additional tourist footfall into Tamil Nadu.
Exhibitors at TTE 2025 will have the opportunity to interact with 300+ potential buyers and over 400 stakeholders from across the state.
Buyers will be from various parts of India and other countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Dubai & the Middle East, South Africa, etc.
Last edition saw 300 buyers, and the same numbers are expected this year too. In TTE 2024, exhibitors expressed their satisfaction at having generated tangible business from various buyers. To continue this momentum, the organisers have kept stall rates subsidised at the same level as last year to encourage wider participation from Tamil Nadu’s tourism fraternity.
The organisers are holding Road Shows in key cities of Tamil Nadu, including Coimbatore, Chennai, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram, etc., to convey to stakeholders about the benefits of taking part in this expo.
This year’s edition will feature 200+ exhibitors, including hotels, resorts, homestays, wellness centres, medical tourism facilitators, destination curators, wedding venues, tourism boards, associations, and regional DMCs.
The Stall rate is priced Rs.. 30,000+GST and Table space is priced Rs.. 10,000 + GST. Each stall and table space will include two passes, entitling participants to attend the inaugural ceremony, two days of business sessions, networking dinners, and lunches.
With participation from 450+ organisations, TTE 2025 is positioned as one of the largest tourism networking platforms in South India.
