Srisha Mohandoss, Co-Founder of Ruh Schools and Director of Education at SSVM Institutions, Coimbatore, recently participated in a week-long programme organised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, New York.

The programme brought together young delegates who are driving meaningful change in their respective societies. The participants discussed a wide range of topics, including education, the environment, diplomacy, technology, human rights and economics.

Srisha also participated in sessions focused on policy-making and global issues. This was her second participation in the UN Youth Assembly.

“This assembly has shaped my thinking about global education,” she shared on her Instagram page.
“Our children can grow into global citizens who take pride in their own nations while still knowing how to sit down with anyone, including those in the most powerful positions in the world, and have a real conversation.

“I’m proud to bring what I’ve learned and these partnerships back to Ruh Continuum School and SSVM Institutions,” she added.
