In a significant national recognition for engineering education, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore, has been conferred with the Award for Excellence in Engineering Innovation and Technology Education at the National Level TIMES NOW Education Summit 2025, held on 20th December 2025 in New Delhi.
The prestigious award was received by R. Sundar, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, from Ashish Sood, Minister for Education, Higher Education, Training & Technical Education, Home, Power and Urban Development, New Delhi, along with David Rathnaraj, Principal of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology.
The occasion was further witnessed by the presence of Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, who felicitated the Principal of the recipient Institution with the award.
