Pre-hospital stabilisation is ensured through the hospital’s LIFESCIENCE ambulance network, equipped with monitors and ventilators.

Inside the department, a three-tier triage system (Red, Yellow, Green zones) prioritises immediate attention for the most critical patients.

Modern resuscitation bays offer point-of-care testing, bedside monitoring, and quick access to CT, MRI, and digital imaging, reducing delays in diagnosis and treatment.

Addressing the media, Sundar highlighted the hospital’s commitment to delivering timely and reliable care, emphasising that in emergencies, “every second counts.” He said the strengthened Emergency and Trauma Care Department ensures that critically ill patients receive the fastest and most dependable treatment.

Advanced Life Monitoring System

Sri Ramakrishna Hospital also introduced its Advanced Life Monitoring System, designed to enhance patient care during ambulance transport. The system enables real-time monitoring of patients in transit, supported by a Smart Monitoring Centre located within the Emergency Department.

The system features dual-side interactive capability, allowing communication between the patient, emergency medical personnel, and hospital staff. This supports prompt decision-making, timely interventions, and reduced delays. By connecting pre-hospital and in-hospital care, the hospital aims to improve patient outcomes and raise the quality of emergency medical services.
