Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) recently.

The MoU will offer various courses and industrial Training, and an Internship program for undergraduate and postgraduate students in cutting-edge technologies. The Centre for Continuing Education, SREC, will facilitate the training program for various stakeholders.

The MoU was signed between Soundarrajan, Principal of the college, and Shoukath Cherukat, Director-in-Charge at NIELIT, Chennai.

Sathish Kumar, Head, Centre for Continuing Education, SREC; Sanjeev Kumar Jha, Scientist and Munivel, Scientist, were also present during the occasion.

National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is an Autonomous Scientific Society operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, to foster Human Resource Development and associated activities in the domain of Information, Electronics, and Communications Technology (IECT).

NIELIT has played a pivotal role in enhancing digital literacy and technical education across the country.
