A car and two-wheeler rally was organised in the city by the 11 Coimbatore Inner Wheel Clubs on 7 December 2025.

The rally was held as part of the Orange the World Campaign, an initiative of the United Nations to end violence against girls and women.

The event was flagged off from VOC Ground by Latha Sundaram, Trustee, ANT Charitable Trust. As part of the initiative, the 11 clubs made a contribution to the Trust in support of its activities aimed at safeguarding girls and women.

The participating vehicles were creatively decorated in an eco-friendly manner and carried posters and placards highlighting the importance of women’s safety and rights. Each vehicle also displayed helpful information such as women’s helpline numbers, features of the Kavalan Akka app, and key legal provisions supporting women.

A total of 27 cars and six two-wheelers participated in the rally. The programme was organised by District CA ISO Ramya Kamesh and Club ISOs Hema, Dhivya, Sushma, Karunya, Janaki, Nandini, Lakshmipriya, and Lavanya, with the support of the clubs.

Winners were announced in categories including Best Slogan, Best Team Name, and Best Social Visibility. The event was supported by Vedanta Academy CBSE School and other organisations.
