Bharathalayam, an Institute of Fine Arts organised ‘Salangai Poojai’ to N. Jeevitha, D/O M. Navaneetha Krishnan & S.S. Madhumathi and disciple of Nritya Rathna Amutha Dhandapani at Saradambal Kovil Mandapam, Race Course, recently.
Jeevitha began attending Bharathalayam Institute at the age of four and has spent 8 years there, completing her dance education up to grade 4 at Muthamil University. She started practising karate at six and began playing kabaddi at ten. She has earned a bronze medal at the national level and a silver medal at the state level in karate competitions. In addition to her athletic achievements, she enjoys baking and has a keen interest in house gardening. Jeevitha also mentors rural government school students through the Supportive Soul’s Charitable Trust.
