To commemorate the Rotary year 2025-26, the Rotary International District 3206 organised a mega blood donation camp headed by Rtn. Chella Raghavendra, District Governor.
In this regard, the Rotary Clubs of Coimbatore East and Centennial, in association with CODISSIA and VGM hospital, organised a blood camp at the VGM hospital on 1st July 2025.
The club members and other volunteers donated 60 units of blood to the hospital.
Rtn. Maruti, District Governor Elect; Dr. Mohan Prasad, Chairman ofVGM hospital; Rtn. Vijay Krishna, President of East Club; Rtn. Govindarajan, President, Centennial Club; Rtn. K.C. Srinivasan, Immediate Past President of Centennial Club; Rtn. Varadharajan and Rtn. Sampath Kumar, the Deputy Directors of Rotary, Rtn. Easwaran, GGR, Rtn. Sanjeev Kumar of East Club and other Rotarians of East and Centennial clubs attended and donated blood in the camp.
Rtn. Selva Kumar and Rtn. Rakesh, the secretaries of the East and Centennial Clubs, coordinated the camp.
To be noted, the camp will continue till 6th July, and volunteers can come forward to donate blood at the VGM hospital.
