Rotary International has recently recognised Rotary District 3201 of Zone 5 with 14 prestigious Rotary International Awards for its outstanding contributions to The Rotary Foundation (TRF), under the remarkable leadership of AKS Rtn. Sundaravadivelu, District Governor for the 2024–25 term.

In Zone 5, out of 16 Rotary International District (RID) clubs, RID 3201 clubs received 14 awards.

Among the 14 honours, two awards—the Second Highest Contribution to the TRF Annual Fund and the Second Highest Total Contribution to TRF in India—were presented to Rtn AKS Adv N.Sundaravadivelu, Immediate Past District Governor, RID – 3201 (2024-25).

The clubs of Rotary District 3201 received 12 awards in total, comprising 3 platinum, 3 gold, and 6 silver recognitions.

The platinum awardee clubs were Rotary Club of Coimbatore Saicity, Rotary Club of Cochin Titans, and Rotary Club of Kalamassery.

The gold awardees included Rotary Club of Cochin Milan, Rotary Club of Metro Dynamix, and Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy.

The silver awardee clubs were Rotary Club of Angamally, Rotary Club of Cochin Queen City, Rotary Club of Ottapalam, Rotary Club of Cochin, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Aakruthi, and Rotary Club of Coimbatore Heritage.

This recognition marks a proud and memorable moment for all Rotarians of District 3201. It reflects the district’s strong commitment to service, humanitarian initiatives, and impactful community projects.

District 3201 originally covered Coimbatore, Palghat, Trichur, Ernakulam, Cochin and Idukki Districts. The Rotary 3201 is now divided into Rotary Districts 3205 and 3206.
