The Rotaract Club of Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology recently organized “ROTA-VISION”, an initiative aimed at enhancing eye health and raising awareness in underserved communities.
The event was conducted to provide free eye checkups for individuals who lack access to proper eye care.
As part of this initiative, 60 to 70 residents from the Somanur area in Coimbatore received complimentary eye screenings. Each individual was thoroughly examined by experienced medical professionals.
This initiative helped identify individuals who had long suffered from vision issues, offering them guidance on further treatment. Many beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the much-needed care they received.
“’ROTA-VISION’ stands as a testament to our commitment to bringing light and clarity to those in need — both literally and figuratively. The mission of the project is to help every individual see the world more clearly and live with dignity,” stated the club.
