Rotary Club of Coimbatore and the Kousika Neerkarangal Organisation began the first phase of the Kousika River restoration project with a land survey on 17th October 2024.
Rtn. AKS. N. Sundaravadivelu presided over the event. In the presence of Selvaraj, Founder, Kousika Neerkarangal the land survey work officially commenced.
Rtn. MD. Subramanian, District General Secretary; Rtn. Padmakumar, District Chief Coordinator; Komalavalli Kanthasamy, President, Town Panchayat, S.S. Kulam; Sivaraja, Secretary, Kousika Neerkarangal; Govindaraj, President, Kondayampalayam Panchayat; Manimekalai, Archaeologist, Rotary Club Presidents, Assistant Governors, and many local residents were the personalities present at the event.
On behalf of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore, Rtn. Sundaravadivelu presented a donation of ₹2.5 lakh to the Kousika Neerkarangal Organisation.
