KMCH College of Physiotherapy, Coimbatore, celebrated the Silver Jubilee of its Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) 1996 Batch with an Alumni Reunion and Expertise Talk, recently.

The event witnessed the presence of 15 alumni from the batch, who were warmly welcomed with mementoes. Dr. Arun N Palaniswami, Executive Director, KMCH, presented the mementoes.

Dr. Thavamani Devi Palaniswami, Joint Managing Director, graced the occasion as a special guest.

Karthik Babu, Principal, delivered the Welcome Address. This was followed by a felicitation note from Edmund M. D’Couto, Director of the college.

The alumni and faculty members shared fond memories of their college days. The event also featured a dance performance and an Expertise Talk by two distinguished alumni.

Dharshan Manickam, Programme Manager- Integrated Services at South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT), United Kingdom, delivered an insightful session on “Scope of Physiotherapy Practices in the UK.”

Arun Christopher, Physiotherapy Specialist at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, spoke on “MSK Ultrasound and its Efficiency in Physical Therapy & Prognosis.”

The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Kalpana, Vice Principal.
