Rathinam College of Arts and Science secured second place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate Inter Zone Kabaddi Women’s Tournament, held at NGM College of Arts and Science, Pollachi, from 17th to 18th October 2024.
The tournament saw competition among the best women’s kabaddi teams from across the region. Rathinam College showcased exceptional performance, starting with a commanding victory in the knockout match against Pioneer College, winning 37-6.
In the league stage, Rathinam triumphed over NGM College with a score of 29-23 and KSG College with a score of 33-22, though they narrowly missed out against PKR College in a hard-fought match.
The final standings placed PKR College in first position, with Rathinam College earning a well-deserved second place, followed by NGM College and KSG College. Rathinam’s women’s team demonstrated remarkable determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, making the college proud of their accomplishments.
