Seven players from PSG College of Arts and Science represented the Coimbatore District Junior Hockey Team and contributed to securing third place in the Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu Junior Men’s Hockey State Championship for the “Suguna Trophy 2026.”
The tournament was held recently at the Corporation Hockey Turf Ground in R.S. Puram.
Aravind Raj, a first-year B.Sc. Physics student, was recognised as a “Promising Player,” while Navaneetha Krishnan, a first-year B.A. Economics student, received the “Best Defender of the Tournament” award.
Yasvanth, a second-year BCA student, was awarded “Player of the Match” for his outstanding performance against Kanchipuram.
