Sivasankari, Petty Officer Cadet, and Sarvesh, Leading Cadet, of PSG Polytechnic College and the 2 (TN) Naval Unit NCC, Madurai, were selected to participate in the All India Republic Day Camp 2026 to be held in New Delhi.
Representing the Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman and Nicobar NCC Directorate, they will compete for the coveted ‘All India Best Cadet’ title.
Both cadets also secured silver medals in the Best Cadet category at the Inter Group Competitions held at the NCC Training Centre, Idayapatti, from September 11 to October 19, 2025.
The college stated that the achievement stands as a prestigious milestone for the institution, adding that having two cadets reach this level simultaneously is a rare distinction and a historic accomplishment that sets a new benchmark for excellence for the college’s NCC wing.
