PSG & Sons’ Charities proudly acknowledges the outstanding achievement of Sabarianand, a patient of PSG IMSR, who won three gold medals at the 26th Junior & Sub-Junior National Para Swimming Championship 2026, held at Zee Swimming Academy, Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Sabarianand was brought to PSG IMSR on the third day of life with a ruptured myelomeningocele (a congenital condition in which the spine and spinal canal do not close completely before birth).

Since then, he has remained under the care of PSG and has undergone multiple surgeries, including bilateral FFD knee correction with support from the Cheshire Homes Trust.

His foot deformities were successfully managed by the Department of Orthopaedics under the leadership of Major Kamalanathan.

On his achievement, PSG shared, “Today, as a ninth-grade student, Sabarianand is completely independent and has emerged as a national-level para swimming champion. His remarkable journey, from a challenging start in life to winning three gold medals at a national championship, stands as a testament to his determination and resilience. His achievement is a source of immense pride and inspiration for the entire PSG family.”
