PSG Hospitals, Coimbatore, in collaboration with leading geriatric organisations, will host “PSG ElderCon 2025” on September 20, 2025, under the theme “Healthy Aging – Adding Life to Years.”

A press meeting regarding the event was held today (September 18, 2025) at the hospital. Dr. Bhuvaneswaran, Director of the hospital, Dr. Rajith, Senior Consultant, Department of Home Health Services, and Dr. Mohanavel, Consultant, Department of Geriatrics, shared key details about the upcoming conference.

The conference is the first interstate geriatric conference, bringing together pioneers, practitioners, and professionals dedicated to advancing healthcare for older adults.

The conference will feature experts from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala, promoting knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovation in the field of geriatrics. With the participation of over 400 delegates—including academicians, clinicians, researchers, and allied health professionals—ElderCon 2025 aims to set new benchmarks in geriatric care and education.

At the inauguration of the conference, Padma Shri Dr. Natarajan, Founder of the Geriatric Foundation, will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his pioneering contributions and tireless service to the field of geriatrics in India.
