The Department of Civil Engineering, PSG College of Technology, in association with the Institute of Land Management and Research (ILMR), Coimbatore, conducted a two-day workshop on Land Record Management recently.
The workshop was organised for third-year B.E. Civil Engineering students as part of PSG Tech’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Sivakumar, Assistant Director of Survey and P.A. to the Collector (Survey), inaugurated the workshop.

The students explored the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP), NAKSHA, cadastral surveying and spatial data management.
The workshop also included a field visit to the Great Trigonometrical Station (GTS) and Continuous Operating Reference Station (CORS) established by the Survey of India at Kinathukadavu.
The students gained hands-on experience in surveying, land information systems and geospatial technologies, connecting classroom learning with real-world applications.
