The Silver Jubilee celebrations of PSG College of Pharmacy concluded with a valedictory function held on Thursday at the PSG IMSR Auditorium.
Sankar, Vice-Principal of the college, delivered the welcome address. L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address.
Dr. Subramanian Ganesasundararajan, Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Translational Medicine, Drug Development Science, Certara, Germany, was the chief guest and delivered the special address.
A coffee table book featuring significant events and memorable milestones from the 25-year journey of PSG College of Pharmacy was released on the occasion.
Mementos were presented to the faculty and staff of PSG College of Pharmacy in recognition of their valuable contributions to the institution.
Student awards were also presented in four categories — Academic and Research, Arts and Cultural Activities, Sports, and Societal Activities — in recognition of their achievements and contributions.
Ramanathan, Principal of the college, proposed the vote of thanks.
