The Airports Authority of India celebrated “Yatri Sewa Diwas” (Passenger Service Day) at all airports across the country on 17th September 2025.
At Coimbatore Airport, the day was observed with a range of engaging activities.
The celebrations featured a blood donation camp, free health and eye check-ups, the welcoming of arriving passengers, a tree plantation drive, a folk dance performance at the arrival hall, a quiz and painting competition for children, and a photo booth with airport branding.
Other highlights included a special visit by students from Classes 10 to 12. The visit involved airport familiarisation activities and discussions on career opportunities in the aviation sector.
