Karpagam Academy of Higher Education conducted its 17th Convocation on Monday.

Rasa. Vasanthakumar, Chairman of the Karpagam Educational Institutions, presided over the event. Murugaiya, CEO, graced the occasion with his presence. Ramasamy, Chancellor of Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, also presided over the ceremony. Ravi, Vice-Chancellor, delivered the welcome address.

Karpagavinayagam, former Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, participated as the chief guest. He delivered the convocation address and conferred the degrees.

In his address, he stated that researchers’ sense of social responsibility and dedicated hard work should elevate India further on the global stage. He added that researchers must serve with a broad vision to ensure that globally established benefits reach all sections of society.

During the ceremony, an honorary doctorate was conferred upon Shankar, Founder and Chairman of Karur Ranga Polyester. In addition, doctoral degrees were awarded to 61 scholars.

Pradeep, Registrar, and Palanivelu, Controller of Examinations, along with deans, heads of departments, faculty members and parents, also participated in the ceremony.
