Nirmala College of Women created history by presenting a grand Bharatanatyam performance of 1,330 Thirukkurals in 4 hours and 30 minutes, on 13th January 2026.
A total of 133 students participated in the performance, with each student presenting 10 Thirukkurals through classical dance.
This unique cultural achievement was officially recorded in the Indian Book of Records, bringing national recognition to the college for its dedication to Tamil heritage and fine arts.
The event marked a proud moment for the institution, highlighting the talent, discipline, and cultural excellence of its students.
