National Cadet Corps of Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore organized a guest lecture on the title “Career Opportunities in Defence” on 8th Sept 2025.
The Chief Guest of the program was Assistant Commandant Thanush K, Commanding Officer C 436 , ICGS Karikal. The Chief Guest Assistant Commandant Thanush is our alumnus (Batch 2012-2016) and he has completed Electronics and Communication Engineering from our college.
Senior Under officer Keerthi Varman S, Department of Civil Engineering rendered the welcome address. Followed by welcome address Capt.Dr.G.Pradheesh, Associate NCC Officer explained about the program to the gathering. Dr.K.Gayathri Devi, Co-ordinator, Department of Science and Humanities, delivered the felicitation address to the students.
CQMS Asita Thangavel, from department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering introduced the chief guest to the gathering. Our Chief Guest Assistant Commandant Thanush K, Commanding Officer C 436, ICGS Karikal, during his lecture shared various modes of entry to defence sectors to students, he also explained the basic skill required for a candidate to enter in to defense sectors. The seminar was concluded with the vote of thanks by LCpl Vidhya P, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, NGP ITECH.
