The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. NGP Institute of Technology organised a Two-Day National Workshop on “Green Hydrogen Production, Storage and Fuel Cell Technologies for Atmanirbhar Bharat” recently, sponsored by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under its VAANI Scheme.
The inaugural session was graced by Arumugam, Managing Director and Sreekrishnan Nair, Senior Business Analyst, Strategy, CIRCOR Flow Technologies India, Coimbatore, as the Chief Guest.
Prabha, Principal, felicitated the gathering and emphasised the importance of emerging clean energy technologies. Muthusamy, Director – Academics, highlighted the growing significance of hydrogen technology in shaping the future of sustainable energy.
Sreebalaji, Dean – Industry Relations and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of bridging academic knowledge with industrial applications.
The programme served as a valuable platform for faculty members, researchers and engineering students to exchange knowledge, explore innovative technologies and understand the industrial applications of sustainable hydrogen solutions.
