National Model Senior Secondary School hosted a grand and heart-warming Alumni Meet on January 17, 2026.
The event brought together nearly 200 alumni from batches spanning 2014 to 2025, transforming the campus into a vibrant hub of nostalgia, joy, and reconnection.
The National Model Alumni Association led the meet under the leadership of Vignesh Hari (Batch of 2014), President.
He was supported by the executive team comprising Rishi (Batch of 2016), Vice President; Vishal Aditya (Batch of 2015), Secretary; Nithiya Shri (Batch of 2020), Treasurer; and Gopika (Batch of 2022), Associate Secretary, along with a dedicated group of alumni volunteers and faculty members.
The formal proceedings commenced with a welcome address by Lavanya, Vice Principal, followed by an inspiring speech from Geetha Laxman, Principal of the school. In her address, she highlighted the institution’s core values and expressed immense pride in the diverse achievements of its former students.
The gathering also featured speeches by alumni representatives from different batches, including Anirudh Jegannathan (2015), Nithin Sounder (2019), Sona Sree (2020), and Angelin (2024). Their heartfelt reflections and personal journeys stood as a testament to the school’s lasting influence and the strong foundation it provides.
One of the most memorable highlights of the celebration was the nostalgic school bus ride, which allowed alumni to relive their student days. The atmosphere was further enlivened by interactive fun games, a lively photo booth, and a high-energy DJ session that saw teachers and alumni dancing together.
In his closing address, Mohan Chandar shared the vision of building a strong, connected, and supportive National Model Alumni Network for the years to come. Adding to the excitement, the Chairman announced that alumni reunions will henceforth be held once every three years, a decision that was met with widespread cheers and applause, reinforcing the unbreakable bond between the school and its alumni.
