Coimbatore is expected to witness scattered spells of rainfall across both city and rural limits through Wednesday, November 4.
From November 5 through the weekend (November 7), widespread rain activity is anticipated to pick up significantly across the district. While weather observers indicate that conditions will range predominantly between moderate and heavy showers, heavy downpours that hit Coimbatore a week ago have been ruled out for the current cycle.
With the rainfall expected to peak closer to the Diwali festive period, residents and farmers across the district have been advised to plan their outdoor schedules accordingly.
