Marut Drones, India’s leading agricultural technology drone company, recently showcased its indigenously developed drone solutions at Agri Intex 2025, held at Codissia, Coimbatore—one of India’s premier agriculture trade fairs.

The Marut Drones team engaged with a diverse spectrum of stakeholders, including farmers, agri-dealers, tea garden owners, agri-entrepreneurs, researchers, consultants, and public sector representatives. Their cutting-edge innovations received an enthusiastic response, with strong interest and positive feedback from visitors throughout the event.

Among the highlights was Marut’s AG-365, a multi-utility spraying drone, and its variant AG-365H, which features hybrid endurance capability, allowing for longer operational coverage with fewer recharge cycles.

These models were a particular attraction for farmers exploring efficient, large-scale input application methods.

The company also introduced SkySwift, a compact and agile drone designed for mapping and quick deployment. Equipped with anti-collision strobe lights and night vision capability, SkySwift demonstrated strong potential for use in challenging terrain and low-light conditions.

These drone models stood out for their versatility, high payload capacity, and ability to adapt to varying crop and field conditions, resonating strongly with both progressive farmers and industry professionals.

Speaking at the event, Prem Kumar Vislawath, Founder and CEO of Marut Drones, said,
“We are proud to participate once again in Agri Intex 2025. Events like these help us connect directly with the farming community and understand their evolving needs. Drones are no longer viewed as a luxury; farmers now recognise their tangible impact. It’s encouraging to see the ecosystem maturing, particularly in the southern region.”

He added, “There was significant interest in high-capacity drones—such as our 20-litre and 30-litre models—for their efficiency in granular input application. Given that the average fertiliser usage in Tamil Nadu is 100–120 kg per acre, these drones offer a practical, cost-effective alternative to manual application.”

Highlighting the company’s expansion plans, he noted, “We aim to onboard 10 new dealers in Tamil Nadu over the next two to three months to strengthen local demonstration capabilities, enhance post-sales support, and deepen engagement with farmers across key agricultural zones.”
