The Department of Biochemistry (PG & Research), Kongunadu Arts and Science College, organised a free mega medical camp in association with Dr. Muthus Hospital, Coimbatore, on December 30 and 31, 2025, at the college premises.
The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services to students, teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, and the general public. A dedicated medical team comprising a doctor, two nurses, two assistants, and a BMD technician from the hospital offered their services under the orthopaedic department.
The camp facilitated basic health screenings, including blood pressure (BP), random blood sugar (RBS) tests, and bone mineral density (BMD) assessments for those in need.
The initiative underscored the commitment of the Department of Biochemistry (PG & Research) and Dr. Muthus Hospital towards community healthcare and wellness.
The camp benefited a large number of individuals by providing quality medical assistance.
