KMCH College of Physiotherapy organised a two-day workshop on the topic “Pedagogic Effectiveness – An Orientation to Essentials of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment” on 13th and 14th October 2025.
Ramnarayan, Pro Chancellor of Sikkim Manipal University and Emeritus Professor of Medical Education, was the resource person.
The workshop brought together 100 faculty members and aspiring educators to enhance their teaching methods and uphold a high standard of education for students.
Delegates and participants were from various fields, including physiotherapy, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, allied health sciences, medical, dental, schools, and colleges of education.
The programme was inaugurated by Karthik Babu, principal of the college, along with the principals of nursing and pharmacy. They emphasised the college’s commitment to continuous faculty development to ensure that students are well prepared for the rapidly evolving healthcare sector.
The workshop focused on pedagogic skills to enhance effective teaching–learning strategies, composing objective questions, and formative methods to promote engaging and student-centred learning environments.
The workshop concluded with a valedictory function and a vote of thanks delivered by Brammatha, organising secretary from the college.
