Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH) announced that its Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dr. Sivakumaran, has been awarded the Forttuna Global Excellence Award for his outstanding contributions to the healthcare industry, recently.
The award was presented to Dr. Sivakumaran at a ceremony held aboard Queen Elizabeth 2 ship, a luxury floating hotel in Dubai. He is the only Indian COO from the healthcare industry to receive the coveted recognition.
Sivakumaran has a rich experience of over three decades in the healthcare industry. He has authored and published a number of scholarly articles in leading journals. Last year he received the Healthcare Visionary Award from the Financial Express. He’s also the recipient of the Most Iconic Healthcare Leaders (Global) Award from the World Health and Wellness Congress.
