Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC), in collaboration with the Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre, jointly inaugurated a two-day International Conference titled “Materials and Processing for Sustainable Development” on Friday, under the theme “Empowering the Future with Smart Technologies.”
Krishna Kanth Pulicherla, Scientist ‘E’, Technology Translation and Innovation (TTT) Division, DST, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Ranganathan Santhanam, Senior Scientist ‘F’, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, Hyderabad, was the Guest of Honour.
R. Sundar, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, delivered the felicitation address.
The Chief Guest released the conference proceedings, and the first copy was received by the Managing Trustee. During the event, a coffee table book on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was also released by the Managing Trustee along with other esteemed dignitaries.

Soundarrajan, Principal of the college, delivered the welcome address.
The Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Robotics and Automation Engineering of the college are jointly organising the conference.
