International Carnatic Musicians and Dancers Association (ICMDA) in association with Tamil Nadu government, Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram and Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple Trust organised a mega world record attempt event at Kashi Vishwanath temple, Lalitha ghat, recently.
The theme for the event was “Shiva Thandava Stotram” being displayed in various art forms like vocal, dance and drawing. This attempt was made to cover 10 world records which include the Champions Book of World Records, The British World Records, Asia Book of Records, the Golden Book of World Records, Noble World Records, Fantastic Achievements and Records, the Marvellous Book of Records, America Book of Records, High Range Book of World Records, India Records, Unique World Records, Asian World Records.
Musicians, dancers and artists displayed the “Shiva Thandava Stotram “in their art forms.
Here in Coimbatore, a group of 32 members joined live in this world-record attempt under the guidance and mentoring of Praveena Chandrashekhar. They displayed the “Shiva Thandava Stotram “in the vocal form at Fortune Suites hotel, R S Puram.
To witness the event E.K. Nagarrajen, a renowned Chartered Accountant and an ardent Shiv bhakta along with his wife Annapoorani Nagarrajen, who is also a multifaceted personality were the Chief guests. R. Ravichandran, jeweller and the owner of Fortune Suites was the Guest of Honour.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and demonstrated unparalleled teamwork and dedication across all age groups of participants. By the end of the event, all the participants were felicitated with participation certificates from The Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram, The ICMDA Association and The Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust along with a World Record holder medal.
