Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology and Hindusthan Institute of Technology jointly inaugurated the first-year B.E./B.Tech, MBA, and MCA programmes for Government Quota students at a grand ceremony held on the Coimbatore campus.
The event was graced by Sarasuwathi Khannaiyann, Secretary, Hindusthan Group of Institutions; Priya, Executive Secretary; Jaya, Principal of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology; and Natarajan, Principal of Hindusthan Institute of Technology, along with Deans, Heads of Departments, and faculty members.
In their welcome addresses, Jaya and Natarajan highlighted the institutions’ academic excellence, strong placement records, and holistic educational environment.

Delivering the presidential address, Sarasuwathi Khannaiyann congratulated the freshers and their families, assuring them of Hindusthan’s robust industry connections and career development opportunities. In a heartfelt moment, she encouraged students to seek blessings from their parents, emphasising the importance of gratitude and humility.
The ceremony also recognised two outstanding NCC cadets, Gajendran, a Final Year Mechanical Engineering and Rahul Yadav, a Third Year Aeronautical Engineering student, who represented Tamil Nadu at the Republic Day Parade 2025 in New Delhi and Chennai. They were felicitated by the Secretary and Executive Secretary for their commendable achievements.
Alumnus Mahakrishnan, Managing Director of Entudio and a Mechatronics graduate, was honored for his entrepreneurial success. In his address, he emphasised self-learning, innovation and expressed gratitude to the Hindusthan management and faculty for their mentorship.
