The Department of Computer Applications of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, organized a workshop on “Career Opportunities in Civil Services” on February 24, 2025, for first-year MCA students.
Rajasekaran, Project Head at Veranda IAS and Union Public Service Commission Exam Trainer was the resource person. He provided valuable insights into the opportunities in civil services, the importance of taking up the UPSC examination, and the right approach to preparing for it.
The workshop aimed to:
Equip students with effective preparation techniques, study resources, and time management skills for civil service examinations.
Inspire students to consider civil services as a viable and rewarding career option.
Enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills essential for competitive exams.
Provide a platform for students to engage with experts, clarify doubts, and gain real-time knowledge on the selection process.
