Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences, in association with the Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nehru Institute of Technology and Nehru School of Architecture, is organising a three-day Mega Aero Science Exhibition- Aeroplus from 1st August to 3rd August 2025, at Kuniamuthur campus, with free entry.

The Aeroplus 2025 Aviation Exhibition, a major initiative to promote aerospace awareness among students and the public.

The grand exhibition was inaugurated today (1st August 2025) by the special guest Rear Admiral V M Doss, AVSM, VSM (Retd), former Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (AM), in the presence of other special guests Col CST Swamy, Administrative Officer, NCC Group HQ, Coimbatore, and Ajay Thangam, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore City Police.

The expo was presided over by Krishnadas, Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius-India & Chairman and Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions.

Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary; Nagaraja, Executive Director, Academics & Administration; and heads and office bearers of the institutions were present at the inauguration.

On the first two days, the expo will be open for school students from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On the last day, the expo will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Aeroplus Expo

The exhibition aims to offer a comprehensive overview of advancements in aviation, aerospace, and allied technologies.
Now in its eighth edition, Aeroplus is being held after a gap due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The exhibition showcases a range of activities and interactive zones designed to engage participants of all age groups.

The exhibition also features a career guidance centre focusing on widespread opportunities in defence, civil, and high-altitude aviation sectors. Selected participants will be given an opportunity to sit in the cockpit of an aircraft. Competitions, lucky draws, and prizes have been planned to further encourage student participation.

The welcome address was delivered by Balaji, Dean of the College, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Rameshbabu, Training Manager and Coordinator of Aeroplus 2025.
