With the intent to provide free refreshments to the public during this summer, Jagannaath Properties & Textiles inaugurated a buttermilk stall near Rajasthani Sangh in R.S.Puram on Thursday.
Coimbatore Mayor Ranganayaki and Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran inaugurated the stall in the presence of Ramesh Kumar Tibrewal, MD, Jagannath Textile Company.
The Mayor appreciated Jagannaath Properties for setting up such stalls for 2 decades during summer, and wished them to continue their service in the future.
Ramesh Kumar Tibrewal, MD, Jagannath Textile Company, while speaking to the press and media said that they have opened 9 buttermilk stalls in the city. 9000 litres of buttermilk will be served in the stall every day from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. till summer ends (for the next 3 months). Besides R.S.Puram, the stalls are also opened at Thadagam Road near High School bus stop, Gandhipark Bus Stand.
A press release mentioned that apart from fixed stalls, buttermilk will also be provided in vehicles in the Gandhipuram area.
