National Model Senior Secondary School celebrated Ethnic Day on 27th September 2025 at the school campus.
Dr. Balaji, Managing Trustee of Coimbatore Cancer Foundation, graced the event as the chief guest, and the function was presided over by Mohan Chandar, Chairman of National Model Group of Schools.
Students wore traditional attire and participated in various traditional activities. The celebration featured the display of a five-step kolu, traditional games, and cultural stalls, including shops selling bangles and dresses.
Students bought products from the shops and enjoyed the day. A vegetable market was also set up.
The event aimed to preserve Indian culture, instil its values in students, and protect it from extinction.
Geetha Laxman, Principal of the school, faculty members, and other esteemed dignitaries graced the occasion.
