The Department of Physics at Dr. NGP Arts and Science College, in collaboration with Rapid Future Technology, organised “Stream Minds – Vision 2030: An Inter-School STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Championship 2025” on the college campus recently.
The event aimed to ignite creativity, scientific curiosity, and technological skills among young learners through a series of intellectually engaging activities.
Exciting thematic segments such as Bob the Builder, 3D Pen Artist, Techno Tinkers, Nature Ninja, Celestial Chase, Robo Rumble, Code Clash, Tech Bytes, and Next-Gen Innovators provided students with a platform to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in a holistic and futuristic manner.
The Chief Guest, Uma Maheshwari, CEO of AIC Amrita Incubator, delivered an inspiring address on the role of creativity, research, and entrepreneurship in the evolving technological landscape, leading toward Vision 2030. She encouraged students to pursue curiosity-driven learning and to use technology as a tool for societal advancement.
The championship was inaugurated in the presence of Saravanan, Principal; Ramamurthi, Dean of Academics; and Girija, Head of the Department.
Jayakumar, Praveenkumar, and Thiyagaraju, Directors of Rapid Future Technology, emphasised the importance of STEAM education in shaping India’s scientific and technological future. They extended their best wishes and highlighted the college’s commitment to fostering innovation-driven learning.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from school students across the region.

The event concluded with an appreciation ceremony recognising outstanding student performances. “Stream Minds – Vision 2030” successfully showcased the power of STEAM education and reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to cultivating future innovators.
