PSG Super Speciality Hospitals celebrated National Doctors’ Day today

Students from Mani Higher Secondary School, Rasakondalar Matriculation Higher Secondary School, National Model Schools, and Stanes Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School visited the hospital and wished all the doctors a very Happy Doctors’ Day by presenting them with greeting cards.

Dr. J.S. Bhuvaneswaran, Director of the hospital, accepted the students’ wishes and explained to them why Doctors’ Day is observed.

Later, during an interactive session, Dr. J.S. Bhuvaneswaran and Dr. M.D. Varunn, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, thanked the students for their warm wishes and interacted with them, answering their questions.

During the interaction, a student asked Dr. J.S. Bhuvaneswaran what fascinated him the most about the human body. Responding to the question, he said, “Consciousness fascinates me.”

The two doctors later elaborated on the day’s theme, “Behind the Mask: Who Heals the Healers?”. Dr. J.S. Bhuvaneswaran said that while doctors dedicate themselves to healing others, they must also take care of their own physical and mental well-being.
