Dilip Sanghani, Chairman of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), Gujarat State Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited (GUJCOMASOL), and Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), visited the IFFCO–Nanoventions (IFFCO-NVPL) Research Centre located in Coimbatore recently.
During his visit, he reviewed the ongoing Research and Development (R&D) activities and inaugurated the state-of-the-art Innovation Hub. He also interacted with scientists and research teams, appreciating the innovative products and scientific excellence demonstrated by IFFCO–Nanoventions.

Sanghani remarked that such initiatives would play a vital role in shaping the future of sustainable and resilient agriculture.
As part of the visit, Sanghani was briefed on IFFCO–Nanoventions’ new product, “DharAmrut Gold.” This silicon-based natural fertilizer is designed to improve soil structure, enhance moisture retention, and increase crop tolerance to adverse conditions such as drought and high temperatures.

Emphasizing the vision of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amit Shah, under the theme “Prosperity through Cooperation,” Sanghani stressed the need to reduce excessive use of chemical fertilizers.
He urged officials and scientists to promote IFFCO Nano Fertilizers and products like DharAmrut Gold as effective alternatives to conventional chemical fertilizers. He highlighted that these products contribute to improved soil health, environmental protection, and sustainable agriculture.

He also directed IFFCO- Nanoventions officials to accelerate research activities. He held discussions with all State Marketing Managers of IFFCO, encouraging them to ensure the supply of high-quality, nutrient-efficient products to farmers. He emphasized that such efforts are essential to enhance crop productivity and increase farmers’ incomes.
The event was attended by IFFCO heads, including Patel, Managing Director; Birinder Singh, Director (CRS); Lakshmanan, Managing Director, IFFCO–Nanoventions; Singh, Head, Kalol Nano Plant; all State Marketing Managers; other Directors; and senior officials from IFFCO Headquarters.

The visit reaffirmed IFFCO’s strong commitment to innovation, agricultural research, and the promotion of sustainable and prosperous farming through the cooperative movement.
