As part of Coimbatore Vizha 2025, a grand bike rally was organised in collaboration with the Coimbatore Bikers Community on 16th November 2025 to raise awareness about road safety and the importance of wearing helmets.

This is the second consecutive year the rally has been held. Around 500 bikers, all wearing helmets, participated in the ride, which concluded at CODISSIA Grounds.

The rally was flagged off by Ashok Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), along with Shanmugam, Chair of Coimbatore Vizha, and Bindhu, Aadarsh, and Kesica, Co-Chairs of the Vizha.

Ashok Kumar addressed the participants, stressing the importance of discipline and awareness among riders. He highlighted current traffic challenges in Coimbatore and urged participants to set an example by following road safety norms.

The rally proceeded through the G.D. Flyover and ended at Park Grounds, CODISSIA. Participants were also briefed on essential safety practices, reinforcing the city’s focus on responsible riding.

As part of the celebrations, the Vizha team is conducting “Sky Dance,” a first-of-its-kind projection mapping experience celebrating Coimbatore, until 24th November, where all riders gathered for the closing session.

Organised under the banner of Coimbatore Vizha, the event received strong support from the riding community, volunteers, and officials, highlighting the city’s ongoing commitment to road safety awareness.
