Art Street, also known as Oviya Sandhai, is one of the most popular events of Coimbatore Vizha, bringing together artists from across South India to showcase their creative works. In this 9th edition, 90 artists from Coimbatore, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kerala, and other South Indian cities are participating, exhibiting a wide range of artworks including thread art, wood art, sand art, mural paintings, portraits, resin art, handmade crafts, and reverse paintings.

The venue features several art installations based on the theme ‘Reflections’, created by the Coimbatore Vizha team in association with the Indian Institute of Interior Designers – Coimbatore Centre.

“The 2025 theme, Reflections, explores multiple layers — from physical reflections of light and form to emotional and nostalgic reflections connecting the city’s past with its evolving present.

Visitors embraced the theme wholeheartedly, engaging with artworks that encouraged them to pause, think, and rediscover Coimbatore through fresh perspectives. The theme beautifully complements the Infinity Edition’s message of endless creativity and continuous cultural growth,” the organisers said.
