Coimbatore Super Smashers, the city’s first professional pickleball team, organised the first edition of the Coimbatore Pickleball Open, a Pickleball World Rankings (PWR) 200 sporting event that attracted over 300 talented players from across India.
Held over two days, on the 23rd and 24th of August 2025, the tournament featured competitions in ten different categories.
The event was graced by R. Sundar, Managing Trustee of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, as the Chief Guest, and R. Narendran, Joint Managing Trustee, as the Special Guest.
All winners and runners-up received medals and cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performances.
The event was successfully organised by Arjun Narendran and Rithika Ramakrishna, ensuring a smooth and professional tournament experience for all participants.
