In the journey of Learn Naturally Excel Globally, Chandramari International School has successfully completed its first year and entered its second year with the launch of future-ready, advanced facilities on October 14, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the school’s journey toward providing enhanced education.
The event was presided over by Mariammal, Founder and Dr. Murali Kumar, Chairman; Dr. Suresh Babu, Co-Founder; Dr. Sumathi Muralikumar, Correspondent and Dr. Kaliavani, Trustee lit the lamp. Executive Directors Dr. Vijay Chandru and Dr. Gautham Chandru led the proceedings, while Vishal Bhandari, Principal delivered the welcome address.
Mariammal, in her inaugural speech, emphasized the school’s commitment to providing high-quality, international education and its ambition to transform into a university in the near future. She acknowledged the hard work of the administration and called for the support of teachers, parents, and the community to achieve this vision. “Our goal is to offer 100% international standard education, and with everyone’s cooperation, we are confident in reaching this milestone,” she stated.
Murali Kumar highlighted the remarkable progress of Chandramari International School since its inception. He expressed gratitude to the people of Coimbatore for embracing the school’s mission of providing global education in the region. “Over the past year, we have focused on understanding the needs of our students and parents, and we are fully committed to delivering world-class education,” he said.
He also announced the launch of an Innovation Center aimed at fostering skill development alongside academic excellence. Modern Facilities and Architectural Excellence The newly inaugurated Phase II building, with its striking architectural design, features three floors and 33 classrooms, each equipped with advanced Touch Screen Computer Boards to enhance the learning experience. Additionally, specialized facilities, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology labs, a Dance Studio, and an Audio Recording Theatre, have been established. The school also has an Innovation Lab to help students explore and showcase their talents on a global stage.
Vishal Bhandari highlighted the school’s achievements over the past year, noting that students have excelled in various academic and extracurricular competitions. “We regularly organize seminars and scientific programs, inviting educators, scholars, parents, and students to participate in discussions that enrich our learning environment,” he remarked.
Dr. Vijay Chandru, Executive Director, Chandramari International School, announced the opening of the school’s Phase II following the successful completion of its first year. He highlighted the enhancements made in the curriculum and extracurricular activities for children, focusing on a more advanced approach. Key features for kindergarten students include a splash pool, dedicated indoor and outdoor play areas, a junior dance studio, an art and crafts zone, and a junior library.
For senior students, Chandru emphasized the addition of specialized spaces such as dance and music rooms equipped with recording studios, overseen by trained professionals. He also mentioned the state-of-the-art laboratory facilities aimed at fostering excellence in practical knowledge.
Sumathi, Correspondent, Chandramari International School, discussed the new facilities introduced in Phase II, highlighting how activities have been tailored separately for kindergarten and senior students. She emphasized that these advanced amenities are designed to enhance students’ skills.
Sumathi specifically mentioned the amphitheatre, which aims to encourage public speaking and help students overcome stage fright. She also introduced the innovative “flip classroom,” where students take the lead in teaching their peers by sharing what they have learned. Other notable activities include the “collaborative classroom,” where students engage in peer teaching.
Additionally, she highlighted the new art studio and innovation lab, which are intended to make learning more enjoyable and engaging, ensuring students look forward to coming to school rather than feeling hesitant.
The event concluded with a spirited “School Tour,” during which students marched from the Phase I building to the newly inaugurated Phase II building, cheered on by the teachers. The tour symbolized the school’s continuous journey toward excellence, with students entering modern classrooms designed to nurture their academic and creative potential.
