Carmel Garden Matriculation Higher Secondary School celebrated the Silver Jubilee Reunion of its 2001 batch alumni recently on the school campus in Coimbatore under the theme, “Connecting Hearts – Rebuilding Relationships – Creating Memories.”
The reunion brought together members of the 2001 batch after 25 years to reconnect with their classmates and teachers, relive cherished memories, and renew lifelong friendships.
The programme began with a welcome by Nancy Jasmine, Office Coordinator, followed by the welcome address by Mathew on behalf of the alumni.
The event featured fun games, group interactions, experience-sharing sessions, and a “Fun and Frolic Kids’ Corner” with indoor games for children.
The gathering was felicitated by Francis Joe Dhanraj, Sathanandham, former faculty members and Arockia Thedeyus, Principal of the school, who appreciated the alumni’s initiative and encouraged them to remain connected with their alma mater.
A major highlight of the reunion was the presentation of an alumni grant of ₹6 lakh for the renovation of the school’s Chemistry Laboratory. The contribution was handed over on behalf of the alumni by Harihara Sudhan, Executive Director, ABT Limited, to the Principal, Arockia Thedeyus, reaffirming the alumni’s commitment to supporting their alma mater and its continued growth.
