Industrialists, educational institutions, and philanthropists in the Coimbatore district have formed the ‘Kavasam Foundation’ to help victims of crime, abuse, and road accidents.
The new project is the brainchild of Balakrishnan, Police Commissioner, Coimbatore City.
The Commissioner along with Ravi Sam, Managing Director of Adwaith Lakshmi Industries and L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons charities gave away educational assistance to the families of the victims.
Balakrishnan said the foundation will help families of the victims monetarily, find jobs and psychological support and provide educational assistance.
