The Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) – UltraTech Awards recognises outstanding contributions and achievements in concrete technology, construction engineering and the built environment.

At the recently held awards ceremony organised by ICI’s Coimbatore Centre in association with UltraTech Cement, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research (PSG iTech), was honoured with the prestigious ICI–UltraTech Outstanding Concrete Structure Award 2026 for its innovative project called E8 Block.

The project was executed with contributions from a team of professionals.  Ravichandran of PSG Institutions was recognised as the project engineer, Jayagopal of Mithran Structures served as the structural consultant, and Srinivasan of Srinivasan Associates was the contractor. PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research was the owner of the project.

This recognition highlights PSG iTech’s emphasis on quality infrastructure and engineering excellence. The achievement also brings recognition to the collective efforts of the institution and the professionals involved in delivering the project.
