Dr. Karthickeyan Viswanathan, Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology (NGP iTech), Coimbatore, has been recognised among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2026, marking his seventh consecutive year of recognition for his research contributions.
The recognition is based on the prestigious Stanford University–Elsevier database, which identifies influential researchers worldwide using standardised bibliometric indicators such as total citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted h-index, author-position citations and a composite citation score. These indicators help assess researchers’ scientific contributions and research impact.
