Omnicom Global Solutions (OGS), Omnicom’s integrated solutions engine, recently expanded its presence in Coimbatore with the inauguration of a new office, marking another important milestone in the organization’s continued growth in Tamil Nadu.
The facility, located at Alagendra Plaza, Avinashi Road, was inaugurated by Vignesh, Minister for Prohibition and Excise, Government of Tamil Nadu, in the presence of OGS leadership, employees and invited guests.
As part of Omnicom, the world’s leading marketing and sales company, OGS supports agencies and clients worldwide through expertise spanning technology, data, media, creative and business support services.
Today, OGS employs more than 1,000 professionals across Tamil Nadu, with operations in both Chennai and Coimbatore.
Designed to support OGS’s continued growth in the region, the new office offers seating capacity for up to 200 professionals, more than doubling the capacity of the previous facility.
The expanded facility also includes dedicated training infrastructure to support OGS’s growing focus on talent development in the city.
Coimbatore serves as OGS India’s Graduate Trainee hub, and the office also houses OGS’s Graduate Trainee Incubation Centre, supporting structured learning, professional skill development and hands-on experience for early-career talent entering the workforce.
Through OGS Pro, its graduate development program, OGS has hired more than 700 graduates over the past five years, creating opportunities for young professionals to build careers in a global organization while remaining connected to their local communities.
Vishal Srivastava, CEO, OGS India & Philippines, said, “The inauguration of our expanded Coimbatore office marks an important milestone in OGS’s journey in Tamil Nadu.
Coimbatore has emerged as a strong talent destination, supported by a rich education ecosystem, entrepreneurial spirit and highly skilled workforce. This facility reflects our confidence in the region’s exceptional talent pool and long-term potential.
Through initiatives such as OGS Pro, we remain committed to developing future-ready talent and creating opportunities for young professionals to contribute to global teams and clients while building meaningful careers locally.
We are particularly proud that Coimbatore continues to play a central role in our graduate talent strategy and capability-building efforts.”
Commenting on the inauguration, Minister Vignesh said, “Tamil Nadu continues to strengthen its position as a leading destination for knowledge-driven industries, technology and talent.
We welcome organizations such as Omnicom Global Solutions that are investing in talent development and creating opportunities for young professionals.
The opening of this facility in Coimbatore reflects the growing importance of the city as a hub for innovation, capability development and global business services.”
