The ability to communicate in more than just one language open lot of opportunities for a youth aspiring to get placed or learn in reputed international institutions and organizations. Suppose if he/she has knowledge of a foreign language such as German, Japanese or French, it just unlocks global opportunities in career, higher education, research, etc.
Towards that goal, and to strengthen foreign language education, international academic engagement, and global career pathways for students, with a special focus on Japan and Germany, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) made a pact with foreign language education services provider Fluent Pluz recently.
“Under this collaboration, Fluent Pluz will support KPRIET in providing structured Japanese and German language training, enabling students to build the linguistic, cultural and professional competencies required to pursue higher education, internships and career opportunities in Japan and Germany,” a press release from KPRIET said.
A key focus of the MoU is to strengthen the connection between the KPRIET campus and the international ecosystem. The collaboration will facilitate interactions with Japanese and German industries, universities, experts and professionals, creating opportunities for high-quality knowledge exchange, technology collaboration and exposure to global practices.
The MoU signing and strategic discussion were attended by Navaneethakrishnan, Director – Corporate Affairs, Fluent Pluz; Akila, Principal, KPRIET; Anand Kumar, Associate Director – IIPC, KPRIET; and Prof. Prabhakar, Head – Centre for Foreign Languages, KPRIET.
